Netflix has confirmed that The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run will land on streaming services soon. Earlier this year, Paramount confirmed that Sponge on the Run will skip entire theaters for live release to stream following the coronavirus pandemic. British and international fans will be able to watch SpongeBob's latest adventure on Netflix, and the platform recently confirmed that Mr SquarePants fans can watch the film on the service starting November 5.Set before the television series, SpongeBob travels to Coral Camp and meets some new friends. However, when his pet snail, Gary, is kidnapped by Poseidon and taken to Lost City in Atlantic City, he and his new best friend, Patrick, must go on a rescue mission to save him from Poseidon's cowardly plans before it's too late. The film will also reveal the first time our beloved characters (as kids) meet at the Camp… a magical moment that brings meaning to the power of true friendship.
